This article explores the key shortcomings of traditional network security in the context of cloud computing and discusses innovative approaches that promise to enhance security, adaptability and scalability. By leveraging concepts such as zero trust architecture, softwaredefined networking and AI-driven threat detection, organizations can effectively fortify their networks in the cloud era.
